Conor McGregor attacks bus, stripped of UFC title

Conor McGregor is once again desperate to stay in the public spotlight, not by winning fights or contributing anything to society. No, the man who earned millions of dollars bu losing a boxing match to Floyd Mayweather turned himself into police after being caught on film attacking a UFC bus.

Of course, the incident was captured on video. McGregor is seen visibly upset as a bus arrives at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York for UFC 223 media day. The fighter even picks up a metal guardrail and prepares to throw it at the bus before being subdued. McGregor was not expected to be in attendance.

The bus contained several fighters, one of them injured when the dolly crashed through one of the bus’ windows. A group of goons, thought to be part of McGregor's posse, were also shown attacking the bus. One took the opportunity to throw a chair. McGregor was also accused of throwing punches at a security detail.

It turns out McGregor was not angry at the bus, just someone on t. "There was a dispute about a vacated title, and the person he was arguing with was not injured," Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said. "He was on the bus, though."

McGregor, who is simply playing an Irish caricature at this point of his career, was aiming for Khabib Nurmagomedov. According to Yahoo Sports, Nurmagomedov upset McGregor after challenging a member of his team earlier in the week. What seems to be really bothering McGregor, however, is being left out of a title fight between Nurmagomedov and Al Iaquinta.

McGregor recently tweeted, “You’ll strip me of nothing you’s do nothing c***s.” Apparently, they’s did something. And that something was stripping him of his title.

UFC President Dana white made the official announcement that McGregor will be officially stripped of his lightweight title  during the UFC 223 post-fight press conference . Nurmagomedov is now the undisputed lightweight champion. Sorry, McGregor.

That's the least of the fighter's problems. McGregor could be facing jail time, being charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief charge.
