TROY, Ala. – Fresh off a first- and second-place finish last week at the Montevallo Falcon Classic, Troy cross country travels to Spanish Fort, Ala., on Friday night to continue its momentum at the Azalea City Classic, hosted by South Alabama.
"We are excited to continue to build on the momentum from last week's meet," head coach Brian Cunningham said. "It is always fun to race another conference team, and we look forward to the challenge. This is likely the smallest field size we will see this year, so it will be important to stay engaged and know where we are in the race. I'm confident our teams will work hard to execute our race plans."
Troy starts the meet with the women's 5K at 5:55 p.m., followed by the men's 5K at 6:20 p.m. in Spanish Fort, Ala.
